"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

Not unless you count designing websites. I haven't been doing any "real" artwork in many years. I'm really trying to get back into it and find some inspiration and learn everything all over again from scratch. I've been building web application code for years now and I've gotten about as far as I'm ever going to get doing that sort of work. I'm dying to do more creative stuff.
